Pastels and Patterns

[This post was written on Wednesday, August 18; however, my computer stopped working so here it is late. Sorry All!!!]

Another lovely night (and morning) at work... To recap, I have now been working third shift at this baby formula factory for a week. My schedule has definitely changed, swapped sleeping and living hours around completely; It can still be difficult planning the day accordingly. No major complaints, just the one where I work in a room that gets no warmer than sixty degrees at any given point = my hands, nose, and backside are freezing cold all night long. I suppose if that's my only complaint, I should just toughen up. tehe

Twisted my ankle at work while walking down the stairs (Just My Luck) and bloodied my lip while wrestling around with my love yesterday.
Did I mention how utterly clumsy I am?! Doesn't help that I bruise easily either.
Just the price I must pay for being too rough on the body I've been given. ha

Sooooooo, it is slightly nerve-wrecking coming to the realization that classes start in just two days. Not only that, but I also have an assignment due by the first class. Trying to find time around work and sleep to take care of everything this past week has not been particularly enjoyable. I am going to need some sort of support to make it through this upcoming week. Wish Me Luck!

p.s. hoping to put up some of my own photos once i get a piece that broke off my camera replaced. sorry all.

Latest Addiction:

ThreadSence Classic Lace Dress in Nude

Simply cannot wait for my first, second, third, and so on's worth of paychecks... My mind wanders all over the pages of on a regular basis, desiring those particulars in which I cannot currently afford.
Job is going well; first time in my life working night shift, and although others find it unpleasant, I tend not to mind terribly much. The night breezes by for the most part as I get paid a pretty penny to simply stare at my beau from across the room... Who could possibly ask for more?
He and I are still young, so one can imagine all the ideas that come along with how to spend our money's worth. About 90% of mine includes clothing, as I am in utter need of a new and better wardrobe! tehe

Moving on...
Classes start back up in about a week and I am stoked, to say the least. Oh how I have resented taking a break from my drafting this summer semester; however, this upcoming semester will include two new challenges for me:
Taking classes online, rather than at a material school and
Working and attending college full time (Not to mention having a completely backwards schedule while working third shift)
I suppose I will have to wait things out to see if I will be able to handle it all.
Until then, Wish Me Luck!

Cuts and Ties

I apologize to anyone who may read this blog, for this is my first and I am no good at keeping up to date, but I will try my best. I mainly wish to express myself and listen to others do so as well.

To begin:
Cut the hair, tied to a new job... The beauties of another day in this life!
Going for a shaggy, Joan-Jett-via-Kristen-Stewart-esque, versatile style. Redying auburn in the morn.

While browsing online, a typical routine of mine, I stumbled upon a handful of inspiring blogs...
Hello Pretty    kandee the makeup artist    KARLA'S CLOSET
I recommend all fashion forward creative individuals to peek through their pages.

Well, my beau and I must start the process in preparing for work. Third-shift, working with baby formula at a factory in my area. Sadly, I cannot express my individual style while at work, as I must don an unattractive uniform. Atleast my love will be there to keep me company. Wish Us Luck!
